Terms of Service

Sonatio Service Terms

Last updated: August 15, 2026. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using Sonatio, you agree to these terms.

Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled.

Service Purpose

Sonatio analyzes premaster audio and provides technical findings, interpreted insights, and an ordered mastering plan. It does not automatically master audio, replace critical listening or professional judgment, or guarantee a particular artistic, technical, or commercial result.

Accounts, Eligibility & Acceptable Use

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use the service only if you are legally able to enter these terms. You are responsible for having the rights required to upload audio and for all activity under your account. You may not abuse the service, evade usage limits, probe protected systems, interfere with other users, or upload unlawful or infringing material.

Audio, Reports & User Content

You retain your rights in audio and other material you submit. You grant Sonatio the limited rights needed to receive, process, secure, and return the requested analysis and reports. Uploaded premaster and reference audio is processed temporarily; saved measurements, findings, recommendations, reference comparisons, reports, and analysis history may remain available in your account as described in the Privacy Policy.

Credits, Payments & Subscriptions

One credit covers one complete analysis as described on the Pricing page, including optional reference comparison when available. Purchased pay-as-you-go credits do not expire. Creator Monthly provides eight credits each billing month; unused monthly credits do not roll over. Prices are shown in USD, and applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Checkout, subscription management, payment processing, cancellation, and any available refund rights are handled through the payment provider and applicable law.

Guidance, Availability & Changes

Analysis and AI-generated guidance may be incomplete, delayed, or inaccurate and should be evaluated in context before you act on it. Ask Sonatio is a public product assistant powered by OpenAI's GPT-OSS 20B model through Groq and based on curated Sonatio product facts; it cannot inspect your account, payments, uploaded audio, or analysis jobs and is not a substitute for account support or professional judgment. Do not submit passwords, payment details, private audio, API keys, or other sensitive information through chat. Chat requests may include recent conversation history and are subject to abuse-prevention rate limits. Sonatio may change, suspend, or discontinue features to maintain security, reliability, legal compliance, or product quality. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Privacy & Third-Party Services

The Privacy Policy explains how Sonatio processes account, audio-analysis, payment, support, security, chat, and analytics information. The service relies on third-party providers for infrastructure, authentication and storage, AI processing, payments, email, bot protection, and optional analytics. Questions and recent conversation history sent through Ask Sonatio are processed by Groq, and provider-side retention may apply under Groq's terms and privacy notice. Their terms and privacy notices may also apply to the services they provide.

Intellectual Property & Feedback

Sonatio and its interface, software, branding, documentation, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use your reports for your own lawful work, but may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or misuse Sonatio's product or branding. Feedback you provide may be used to improve the service without creating an obligation to compensate you.

Suspension & Termination

We may suspend or restrict access when necessary to protect the service, users, providers, or legal rights, including for abuse, fraud, non-payment, or material breach of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time. Provisions that should reasonably continue after termination, including payment obligations, intellectual-property protections, disclaimers, and liability limits, will continue to apply.

Applicable Law & Consumer Rights

Nothing in these terms removes rights or remedies that cannot be waived under the law applicable to you. Any governing-law, venue, dispute, or mandatory notice terms that apply to a particular purchase or account will be presented where required. If you have a concern, contact Sonatio first so we can try to resolve it directly.

Updates & Notices

These terms may be updated as Sonatio evolves. Material updates will be reflected in the published terms and take effect from the stated update date. Continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
